Founded in 1997, Kennedy Smith has grown into a Scotland’s leading supplier of bespoke packaging solutions, specialising in solid board carton packaging.

From the very beginning, our company was created with the aim of offering high-quality packaging that meets the needs of both manufacturers and retailers. Our Journey

The Kennedy Smith Growth Journey

Based in Scotland, our origins were in the healthcare sector, supplying packaging for herbal remedies on behalf of Bioforce (UK) ltd (now A.Vogel (UK)), but over time our packaging manufacturing capabilities have grown substantially, and we now support businesses in various sectors from food and beverages to pharmaceuticals and electronics. Each of these sectors comes with its own demands, but our ability to adapt has made us the preferred choice for businesses with varied packaging needs. No matter the scope, we can help support clients and businesses both small and large. We have a proven track record of delivering at scale for major retailers who depend on efficiency, consistency, and quality.

Founded to cater to the printing and packaging needs of Bioforce(UK) Ltd now (A.Vogel)

Gained first international pharmaceutical customer

Expanded to Second unit to give increased production capacity

Gained first Whisky customer

First major investment in new glue line to allow full straight line, crash lock, 4/6 corner gluing
2004
Invested in new CTP plating machine for increased colour accuracy
2005
Relocated to a new purpose-built factory whilst investing in a state-of-the-art new Man Roland Printing press whilst simultaneously investing in Pre-Press, Die Cutting equipment as well as the latest in MIS technology.

PS9000-2001 Accreditation- PS 9000 is based on the ISO 9001 quality management standard. PS 9000 was developed by the Pharmaceutical Quality Group (PQG) for manufacturers of packaging material for medicines and it defines specific requirements and guidance for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
